How the predictor works

FPL doesn't publish its price change formula. What is known is that prices move with net transfers: players bought by many more managers than sell them tend to rise, and the reverse. We rank every player by net transfers since the last deadline (transfers in minus transfers out), which is the strongest public signal. Treat it as an estimate, not a guarantee: players with low ownership need fewer transfers to move, and FPL also uses protections that aren't public.

How this data works

Prices, transfers and ownership come from the official Fantasy Premier League API. Data updated 30 October at 21:15 UK time.

FAQs

When do FPL prices change?

FPL prices change once a day, overnight in the early hours UK time. There are no price changes during the gameweek deadline window.

How much can an FPL price change?

Each change is £0.1m up or down. A player can change by at most £0.3m in one gameweek.

Why is my selling price lower than the player's price?

When a player rises after you buy him, you only keep half of the rise, rounded down to the nearest £0.1m. Falls come off your selling price in full.
