How the draw works
The generator shuffles the chosen teams using your browser's secure random number generator, then takes the first teams from the shuffled list. Every team in the pool has the same chance of being drawn.

The NHL has 32 teams in two conferences of 16, split into four divisions of 8. Seven of them are in Canada: Calgary, Edmonton, Montréal, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver and Winnipeg.
