How the calculator works out returns
For each bet inside your bet type, the calculator multiplies the decimal odds of the selections in it. A void selection counts as odds of 1.00, so it simply drops out. A losing selection makes that bet worth nothing. The place part of an each way bet uses place odds = 1 + (decimal odds − 1) × place terms, so a 5/1 shot at 1/5 odds pays 2.00 for a place.
FAQs
Does the calculator include Lucky 15 bonuses?
No. Bookmakers set their own Lucky 15 bonuses, such as double odds on a single winner, so returns here are before any bonus or consolation payout.
What happens to a non-runner?
A non-runner or void selection is treated as odds of 1.00. Your bets carry on with the remaining selections, as most bookmakers settle them.
Can I use decimal or American odds?
Yes. Type odds as 5/2, 3.50 or +250 and the calculator converts them before settling the bet.
