CFL Predictions This Week
By the TheyShoot editorial team. Updated
There are no CFL games in the next eight days. Predictions appear here once the next games are on the schedule; the current standings are on the CFL standings page.
How the CFL model works
Each team gets an offence and a defence rating from points scored and allowed per game this season, pulled towards the league average early on. A game's projected score multiplies one team's offence by the other's defence, plus a 2-point home edge. Final margins in the CFL spread about 13.5 points either side of the projection, which turns the projected margin into a win chance. Quarterback changes and weather aren't in the model.
How these numbers are made
Gathered from stats.cfl.ca, press.cfl.ca, tsn.ca and checked before publishing: names, dates and totals must add up, and the data has to come from the official source or match a second source. Data updated 19 October at 19:30 UK time.
